The wedding ceremony and reception will be located at the Butler House at The Cherry Creek Inn. It is located right in the heart of Chautauqua County and operates as a wedding venue, hotel, event space, bed and breakfast. The events of this special day will take place entirely outdoors, with a tented reception.
The ceremony will begin at 3:30PM, and we respectfully request that this be an unplugged ceremony and that guests do not take pictures with their own phones or cameras during the ceremony. After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour with snacks and drinks for guests while the bride and groom take pictures.
Around 5:00PM is when the reception will begin and dinner will be served, buffet-style. Dance all night, snap fun and memorable photos, relax with some drinks, and eat plenty of food! The reception will go until 10:00PM.

Q : What should I wear? What is "Semi-Formal Attire"?
A: Semi-Formal attire calls for a more relaxed look than what’s required at a formal black-tie event- no tux or ball gowns necessary. For those who prefer a more masculine style, dress pants and a button up shirt with optional blazer and tie works well. For those who prefer a more feminine style, a knee-length cocktail dress, a skirt or dress pants and top, pantsuit, or maxi dresses are all great options. Due to the events taking place outdoors, high heels are not recommended. Please feel free to reach out if you’re unsure!
Q : What should I do if I can't make it?
A: We will miss you! If you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.
Q : What time should I arrive?
Guests should plan to arrive approximately 15-30 minutes before the ceremony start time. Please plan to arrive between 3-3:15PM to ensure the ceremony can start right on time at 3:30PM (The bride will not be late…as she is known to be…)!
Q: Where should guests park? Is parking free?
A: There is a field across from the Butler House where guests may park, free of charge.
Q : Do you have a hotel block?
A: We do not, please see our “Accommodations” section on the website for recommendations!
Q : Where are you registered?
A: We are registered on Amazon.
Q : Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
A: Please contact the bride or groom ahead of time, or write any dietary concerns down when you RSVP so we can assure that all dietary concerns and needs are addressed.
Q : Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
A: Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #HappilyEverHaylett so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
